FreshStory is seeking an experienced and motivated Sales Lead to manage sales activities across multiple districts in Kerala. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in handling distributor networks, driving business growth, and leading a team of Sales Executives. This role requires a deep understanding of the local market, a proven ability to add new distributors, and a track record of successful negotiations and agreements.

Job Description:

As a Sales Lead at FreshStory, you will be responsible for overseeing sales operations across at least three to four districts in Kerala. Your role will involve managing and expanding the distributor network, driving sales growth, and ensuring effective execution of sales strategies. You will also lead and mentor a team of Sales Executives, guiding them to achieve their targets and maximize their potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage sales operations across multiple districts, ensuring consistent achievement of sales targets.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing distributors while actively seeking and onboarding new distributors.
  • Negotiate and establish distributor agreements to drive business growth.
  • Lead and mentor a team of Sales Executives, providing guidance and support to achieve sales objectives.
  • Monitor and analyze sales data to identify opportunities for growth and areas for improvement.
  • Conduct regular market visits to ensure product visibility and gather market intelligence.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute promotional activities.
  • Prepare and submit sales reports and forecasts to the management team.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum education: Graduation (Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred).
  • At least 5 years of experience in sales, with a focus on managing distributors and leading sales teams.
  • Proven experience in the frozen dessert industry (ice creams, frozen pulp, etc.) is highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of the Kerala market, particularly in the assigned districts.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to analyze sales data and develop effective strategies.
